What is our jobs as believers in Christ?

Some may say it is easy,because it tells us in Matthew.

Matthew 28:16-20, the Great Commission. Where it says “Go therefore into all the nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father,Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that i have commanded you”.

But you may ask, what if we are to called to be missionaries? What is the job of the believers then?  The first scripture that comes to mind is, Romans 12.

Romans 12:2, “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God”.

Matthew 6:33, “but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”.

Well, what does it mean to seek the Kingdom of God? What does it mean to follow his commands? What are Jesus commands, in the Bible?

According to my research on the matter. I found that there is 1,050 New Testament Commands!! That’s a lot of commands. But, all 1,050 commands, and it can all get boiled down to one.

Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus said,” Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it; “Love your neighbor as yourself”.

What does it mean to Love the Lord with all your hear,soul,and mind?

That goes back to the Romans 12, being transformed by the renewal of your mind. Another thing is, to Love the Lord, means to hate the world, and to hate the world, means to hate the things of the world.
