What does it look like for us to live our dream?
First of all lets do a long overdue update. So we are currently in Guatemala,as of January 14. The 14 was a week later then we had plan, due to a positive COVID test, before we had planned to leave on January 7. So due to that we have one full week of ministry, which has been a huge blessing to be able to do. I think the biggest the thing this past week was that, as much as i was taking to bless the people inn the villages, it felt like i received more blessings then i gave away.
One thing that i felt was pretty heavy on my heart lately,(with coming off spending a month at home, and a next week in Georgia), was my dreams and what i want to accomplish in the future, and also right now? Do we go off of what people say about it,(weather it be right or wrong), or maybe we go off what we think about about it?(like if it looks fun or it feels safe for us). Or do we actually ask the one person who matters, THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, OUR FATHER? Do we take time to ask him what his will for our life is, or do we just ask him to bless what we what to do?
My encouragement for this is to seat with the Lord,(and i mean seat, not just ask and then leave), and pursue the Father with passion, because the more time you spend with him, the closer you will grow with him, and the more clearly he will talk to you. I pray that this will help you grow in your relationship with the Father, it may not be easy right away, but 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says “test everything; and hold fast to what is good”.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. You can contact me on the WhatsApp #7174057194. If you ask a question, i wont be able to answer till Saturday due to not having WiFi.(and sometime on Sunday)
If your interested this is what a week will look like most of the time,
- breakfast is at 7:00
- Monday and Wednesday we go to ministry in villages after breakfast, Tuesday and Friday we have a deep dive before we go to ministry,(where we deep into one portion of scripture), and on Thursday is a activation day, where we have a teaching in the morning and then do a ATL,(ask the Lord), and see where we should spend the rest of the day.
- A day in the villages involve a lot of, playing with kids, house visits, and a lot of ATL to see where he wants us. A lot of focus is put on building relationships, because there wasn’t any ministries in any of the places since last March.
- Most of the time we get back to the base around 3, and catch up with naps, reading the Bible ,or a book, or just hang out with the squad till bedtime.
- Saturday and Sunday we get days off. Saturdays are spend in the beautiful city of Antigua, at coffee shops with WiFi,(because that is the only time we get it), and Sunday are spent at the base just relaxinG.
Thank you for reading and supporting me, much love to everyone
