Last week we had sessions on what our values were, and what our dreams were. 

So for me I never really thought about the future to much, because I had a great job waiting for me at home. So my plan was to grow with the company and  eventually buy part of it. (My dad and brothers own it now). As I was writing down my values and dreams I realized how much of a heart a had for youth (ages between 14-20). I had a heart to teach them what I had learned and to push them closer to the Father.

So a great way for me to do that would be to come back next year and serve as an alumni TL. An alumni TL goes on the race for the first three months to help the group and just to be there for them and lead. Sounded like a good plan to me, I would be able to continue to grow closer to the Father, and ask him how that would look for me. (I wouldn’t lead till next September).  I told my mentor and parents to pray for me as I pursued how it would look for me, and what God wanted for me. 

So with month three coming up and the TL’s leaving, they find someone in the team to be in charge of keeping things on schedule and to be the point of connect to the leaders and the host.

Don’t know how but I got chosen to be the new Team Leader. I’m excited to step into this new role that God called me to. So with that I’ll ask that you guys would pray for me in that area.

A new exciting update is that we are launching on January 7 to go to Guatemala!
