Are you a warrior of Christ? It’s very easy to say YES right away, but, what does it take to be a warrior of Christ? How do you need to live to be a warrior, and to continuously grow in Christ?

I believe a big step, is, how do we pray?

Are you praying for safety in your life, or, for him to do his will in your life?

Won’t get me wrong God hears all prayers, and where’s nothing wrong with asking God to give you something.(he loves you that much). But what would happen if you ask God to use you however he wants. Like in Isaiah 6:8, where God asked who he can send, and Isaiah said send me.

Are we ready to be vulnerable with God, or are we sacred to pray the dangerous prayers for God to have his way in your heart?

Why are we all so sacred from the dangerous prayers? Because Matthew 16:24-28, explains how we need to lose our life on earth, so we can eternal life.

For me I have been thinking a lot about this the last three days. Because we are on thanksgiving break for a week, and I’m not around my squad to help hold me accountable to his word. With that I got challenged myself, how am I praying now that I’m not getting preached to everyday, or on the “mission field” for if we are followers of Chris, we are on the mission field everyday. For we are called to do his will everyday, not just when we like to, or feel like it’s a good time. But we are called to ”present our lives a living sacrifice to God” Romans 12:1-2.

So my challenge to everyone including myself, is,

how are we PRAYING?

How much are we willing to sacrifice for, and to The Father?

Are you ready to receive what God has for you in the dangerous prayers?

  1. Jason, Good thoughts. The challenges will come and land differently than when you’re in the midst of tight, accountable community. Keep pressing in; God hasn’t moved no matter your location or surroundings, and praying the harder prayers will fulfill in a deep, abiding way. His Presence is really all we seek. Bless you as you journey deeper in prayer.

  2. Jason!! This is so good and so prompting!!

“Are you praying for safety in your life, or, for him to do his will in your life?”
